Interactive Development Company, a world leading architecture and building construction firm that is a member of the IDG Group has revealed its latest projects as it continues its international expansion.

Starting out as a small design firm in Los Angeles back in 1985, Interactive Development Company quickly grew as it modernized buildings and completely transformed them with the latest engineering capabilities.

Now with its team of more than 200 professionals, it has been working with a number of prestigious clients from the Ministry of Education through to Pepsi Co, EADS and the Saudi Electricity Company.

With its core expertise in engineering and interior design, Interactive Development Company (IDC) developed new building design standards to challenge established frameworks and modern architectural concepts. This allowed them to rapidly expand their offering and help a multitude of clients adapt to new ways of construction, opening up possibilities as new technologies and building standards emerged.

Recently, the company achieved a new milestone following the construction of the Al Ula Mirror Tent, a large structure in the Saudi Arabian desert that broke a Guinness World Record. The Mirror Tent’s impressive interior also includes a 500 seat auditorium for guests as well as a large stage for cultural events. IDC provided design for the Italian architect who constructed the building as part of a consortium of companies that took part in its development.

Other notable projects also include the Beirut Modern Arts Museum, the Sara Tower, Camel Village in Riyadh, MOMRA (Ministry of Municipality and Rural Affairs Headquarters Space) and the Omnio Plaza residential tower.

Part of its strength from its early conception has been to translate ideas from concepts into a language of architecture that is neither fixated in a simple or linear way. This has led the company to creating more advanced, yet elegant designs with its pool of international talent.

In 2021, the company has a variety of international projects already under way. With its affiliate offices in Valencia, Riyadh, Paris and Beirut, it has established a multi-cultural footprint and continues to develop impressive structures.
